Will your trademark actually register?

Reads your odds before you file, against the grounds the USPTO really refuses on, and tells you how to strengthen the mark. Analysis, not legal advice.

What it does

The problem, and how MCInvent handles it.

Filing services are built to take the filing. You pay, they submit, and months later an office action arrives explaining that your mark was never going to register. The fee is gone and so is the name you already printed on everything.

MCInvent reverses the order. Before you spend anything, it scores the mark against the two grounds that account for most refusals: likelihood of confusion under section 2(d), and descriptiveness under section 2(e)(1). It searches a corpus of more than seven hundred fifty thousand marks for conflicts and explains what it found in plain language.

Then it tells you how to fix it. Usually the answer is a more distinctive mark or a narrower description of goods, and knowing that early is worth more than any filing discount.

How it works

Three steps, in the order that matters.

01
Enter the name and what it is forOptionally describe it in a sentence for a sharper read.
02
Get a registrability scoreOut of one hundred, with what is strong and what is at risk.
03
Strengthen it, then fileSpecific fixes, the conflicting marks, and a filing kit when you are ready.
What it is not

MCInvent does not file for you and it is not a law firm. It is analysis of registrability, not legal advice, and it says that on every result. For anything contested, see a trademark attorney.
