What it does

The problem, and how MCGrantz handles it.

Grant search is a solved problem and it has not helped anybody. You can already get a list of every open opportunity in about four seconds. What you cannot get is an honest answer to the only question that matters, which is whether an organization like yours has ever won this.

MCGrantz answers that. It pulls the award history for each program and shows you who won it before, how much they got, and what kind of organization they were. When past winners are all research universities and you are a small community nonprofit, it tells you so in plain language instead of letting you spend three weeks finding out.

Add your EIN and it scores award sizes against your actual budget from your IRS 990, because a two million dollar award is not a fit for a two hundred thousand dollar organization.
