Is this a legal shield?
No, and anybody selling you one is lying. This is an automated read of one page. It finds the problems most often cited, which is genuinely useful and genuinely not the same as a full manual review by a person. We say so on the result too.
Will you change anything on my site?
No. We request the page the way any visitor's browser does and read the HTML that comes back. Nothing is installed, nothing is written, and we do not need a login.
What does it cost?
The scan is free and needs no account. If you want every issue with the exact element and the exact fix, that report is $29. If you would rather the problems were simply gone, we do that in fourteen days for $1,497. If somebody is waiting on a formal conformance report, that is ten business days at $2,497.
Why would you give the scan away?
Because it is a more honest way to start a conversation than a cold pitch, and because most people who run it do not need us. If your list comes back short, fix it yourself and keep the money. We would rather be the people who told you the truth than the people who sold you a widget.
