Prepared for the First Citizens Innovation Banking startup team (formerly SVB)
Release startup funding with confidence, without the callback chain.
Thank you for your time with Jeff. Ahead of Thursday, we built a working demo of a verified release step, and a short setup so the demo reflects your process, not a generic one. Today it's a simulation: no live bank connection, and no money moves.
What Jeff took from your conversation
- Releases wait on people. Before money goes out, several people confirm, and it goes back and forth.
- The confirmations are the slow part. Callbacks and re-checks take the time.
- AI changed the risk. Deepfakes make phone and video confirmation harder to trust.
- Faster can't mean looser. We understood the goal as faster releases with no weaker controls.
If we got any of that wrong, the first questions below let you correct us, and the demo follows your answer.
Built on what First Citizens already has
Real-time transfers up to $10M per eligible payment. Veritranche is designed to sit in front of your rails, not replace them.
Wires, ACH, approval steps, permissions and limits. In the demo, a release is handed to them only after every check passes.
Approvals signed with a key on each approver's own device, which a voice or video call alone can't produce (passkeys in a pilot). A payee that's checked and locked, a freeze if anything changes, and a recorded confirmation that the startup received the money.
Your team for this
Finesse Humxn, builder. The product, the software and the demo you'll use. Anything about the build comes straight to Finesse at finesse@millennialscreatives.com.
Pricing, partnership and next steps are handled by Finesse and Jeff together.
Partnership lead. Jeff created SocratesNet, his own evidence framework, which we use to define what counts as verified and when a release has to stop. Reach Jeff at jeff@millennialscreatives.com.
Zeb Beck, security lead. Cybersecurity, security testing and audit-ledger work. Security testing is planned before any pilot, with the scope agreed with your team.
How we build it
- Start from what already exists. Account checks, approval signing, fraud monitoring and the bank's own payment tools. Veritranche is designed to sit in front of them, not replace them.
- Use proven practices. Approvals signed on each approver's own device, two-person approval and tamper-evident records are established practices. We connect them into one release decision.
- Add what your answers tell us you need. Your answers below set up the demo directly: your approvers, your checks, your limits.
- Prove it as we go. The demo's release rules are covered by 27 automated acceptance tests, all passing. Security testing by Zero Gravity Engineering is planned before any pilot.
How an engagement works
The setup below and a working session with Finesse and Jeff.

Why at the bank, not the fund
Fund-side tools, such as 6lock, help individual funds send verified payments. Veritranche sits with the bank, so every fund and startup client gets the same verified release step, inside the bank's own controls.
Ready for your vendor review
- A mutual NDA before you share anything confidential.
- Your paper or ours: a master services agreement plus a statement of work.
- The demo uses synthetic data only. No customer data is needed until a sandbox pilot under your agreements.
- We complete your security questionnaire (SIG Lite, CAIQ or your own) as part of the pilot. SOC 2 is on our roadmap.
- Independent security testing by Zero Gravity Engineering before any pilot.
- Millennials Creatives is a registered federal contractor (UEI WBGAAWMD3YE5, CAGE 18ZQ0). Net 30 invoicing, with a W-9 on request.
- Named contacts for every stage, with response times set in the statement of work.
Answer the setup below before Thursday, and Finesse and Jeff will walk you through the demo set up around your answers. Finesse leads the build; Finesse and Jeff handle pricing, partnership and next steps together.
